The Techport Remote Terminal Unit (RTU/FRTU) is an intelligent electronic device designed for use in supply industry. The device acquires data from the feeders & transfers it to the main Control Station. RTU is highly modular, featuring flexibility to interchange its I/O modules which provides an advantage of easy maintenance & upgradation. It provides wide range of communication interfaces including Ethernet, RS 232 & RS 485. RTU supports multiple industry standard protocols, including IEC 60870- 5-101 Slave, IEC 60870-5-104 Slave, IEC 60870-5-103 Master & Modbus-RTU Master, OPC so that a wide range of IEDs can be integrated & the required data is communicated back to the main Control Centers.
